I am sharing a beautiful entry console today. Painted out in ASCP Aubusson Blue and accents in Modern Masters Nickel. Just a beautiful combination for this piece!! And you can see more of this color here and here… I love this blue!!
However, before I share with you… We have been a hustle and a bustling around here to make this new place a home… and lots of projects are going on and you can see more of that over on Instagram
This is where I blog… and as you can see my wonderful view is amazing and inspiring but also very bright!! And it keeps me off the computer because I cannot see the screen. But I put up some curtains yesterday so I can get back to sharing!!
Hooray!!
Here she is all prettied up… The body is painted out in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint color Aubusson Blue. It is a custom mix with a hint of her Graphite color added in. The accents are from Modern Masters Metallic Paint in beautiful Nickel. You can see more of that color here. Modern Masters Metallic Paints are by far my most used and favorite!!
The piece was originally all warm wood and a faux crackle finish all over… the beauty of chalk paint is it is a thick paint. It can mask a lot of that crackle and leave you just the hint you love!!
I used multiple dark waxes to shadow and give depth.
We distressed ever so slightly all over the piece. Keeping the kind of rustic charm but all dolled up look!!
Thank you for stopping in!! If you are local and need anything custom painted be sure to send me an email!! I would love to paint for you!!
Be blessed!!
