I have the wonderful privilege of working with a beautiful couple!! I am cranking out the projects right now but they are still in my studio, aka garage, so they aren’t ready for their reveal… I want that moment they see them to be as special for them as it is to me!! I never fully reveal a piece to you until they see it first!! It’s just the way I do it!!
One Saturday morning a moving truck made it’s way from Houston to my house… it had 19 pieces of beautiful French goodness inside. And we all waited for each piece to be unloaded into the garage and driveway. Picking which pieces to start first and the definite visions they had!! I love that Melissa’s husband was equally invested!! It’s fun to help a young couple build a home around furniture that has been passed down. You love that it has a piece of your history but you also have the opportunity to make it your own!!
I had more pictures to share but lost them on my iPhone when I washed it on sanitary cycle and hadn’t synced it up… and didn’t have the icloud option on either… Sad!!! I have shared a few peeks on facebook…
And my favorite little helper…
So much more to come!! I can’t wait to share it all with you!!! Thanks for stopping in!!
I cannot wait the see the full reveal. What you’ve shown us so far, Lori, is beautiful.
I am salivating over all those French pieces and plotting how I can somehow drive out to Texas and snatch them out of your garage without getting caught.
Your clients are very lucky indeed to have inherited some gorgeous furniture, and they’re beyond lucky to have found you to transform it for them.
Amy it’s on lockdown!! You can come paint with me though any time!!! Thank you so much for your sweet sweet words!! They mean the world!!
Wow all those pieces to do!!!! I am sure they will be gorgeous. Although I scour the market for those types of pieces, I am always happier when someone wants to re-do old pieces because they are family pieces! I am an overboard sentimental gal!!
Looking forward to the reveal.
Regards, Peggy
Me too Peggy!!! I love family pieces… Love the stories they could tell and do!!
OH be still my heart, what an assortment of incredible pieces. Lucky you to get to bring them back to life. Love the coral piece, so gorgeous. I’m so in love with that color this summer. Can hardly wait to see what you do with all those awesome pieces, lucky couple to have them and have you to rescue them. I can only imagine it’s a privilege to you to redo them. Are you going crazy deciding how you’ll do them all? Enjoy yourself.
Love your little helper, she’s very precious. Will be waiting anxiously to see how you do the pieces.
Happy days
Lori, You are so lucky to have those great pieces to work on . Can’t wait to see the results.
Kathy, thank you so much!! I tried to email you and it came back to me!! I am going to try again!!
Lori, gorgeous! But even moreso, who is that adorable little pink and grey spot painted darling at the end of the post? She is absolutely gorgeous!
