I cannot believe that I missed a whole month…
Where did November go??
All you heard about was the show and then I was taken out!!
A sinus infection turned into pneumonia and I was just simply sick and unable to do anything…
As soon as I felt a little human I’d over do it and was wiped back out…
I hate being sick!! Like really hate it!!
There was no painting, no crafting, no fun!!
We took our family pictures in late October… and then I waited.
We were out on a beautiful farm, full of natural goodness.
Chelle Cates Photography created a magical setting and took the best photos capturing our kiddos.
Winter that day was 90 degrees and rosy cheeks were real and natural
{not from cold winds but inner heat}
and we lost the outfits planned and turned to short sleeves….
this one gold chair was perfect for each one of them
It is super hard to believe this guy is turning into a man right before my eyes…
and my once little princess is turning into that lovely young lady… {most days -she is a teen 🙂 }
And what a handsome full of energy and life this guy is!!
We had sooo much fun taking the pictures and we did it really fast… it was so hot!!
The rosy red cheeks on Mia’s face were getting brighter and brighter!!
Miss Mia wasn’t too sure about Santa reading her a book… so I snuck into try and ease it all.
Then Brooke snuck in to help a bit… and just as we thought okay…
Brooke was going to set her down in between and scoot out…
Yea not sooo much!! Love this!!!
Her cute little bow and jammies say ” I love Santa”
Not seeing the love there now are we??
So it’s okay there are no love shots between little girl and Santa…
Thank you for letting me share our family with you.
I am so very blessed!!

Thank you Lisa for taking the time to comment!! Have a wonderful day!! ~ Lori
BEAUTIFUL photos, Lori! Beautiful family, too. I love that you had a Santa in your shoot. The picture of Mia screaming is priceless…that about sums up my twins’ reaction every time they see Santa. 🙂 That golden chair looks amazing as a prop. (Well, you know what I mean.)
Thank you Jami!! I absolutely loved that we captured her screaming… it’s not always sugarplums dancing over our heads!! I can’t wait to show her when she gets older 🙂
You have a beautiful family, Lori! And the photos are amazing.
While I’m sure you wanted a photo of just Mia and Santa, you’ll probably cherish the memory of her reaction more than you would a perfect photo.
Glad you’re feeling better. Those sinus infections can be a doozy, especially when they turn into pneumonia. You poor thing. Hope the germs stay away through the holidays.
Awe Amy Thank you!! I am slowly creeping back up to speed!! Trying to take it one day at a time {not my strongest attribute}!! I need that little twitching nose that can make all the visions in my head come to life right now!! {Just Christmas decorating wise}… anyhoo, thanks for taking the time to leave a sweet comment!! Have a blessed evening!! ~ Lori
