My fun little project for the morning!!
Supplies Needed:
3/4″ plywood scrap
paint
translucent glaze
silver sharpie
scrapbook paper
mod podge
cricut- Storybook and Songbird cartridges used here
EK success punch and chalkboard sticker
IKEA raffia
CTMH Don’t Peek Stamp set and Tulip ink
Started with a white base coat- just acrylic paint. Then cut and taped off diagonal lines. Painted with my little handy Benjamin Moore samples- this one is burnt peanut red.
Just before it was completely dried I pulled off the tape
Here I have lightly used my sander over the top to make it not so freshly painted. I also took a brown glaze and watered it down with shhh- coffee!! I didn’t have water right here in my craft room so I sacrificed the little in the cup I had…
Cut out my shapes (Storybook) and adhered down with mod podge
Stamped out Christmas and cut out Countdown with Songbird. Brushed over with some of the glaze and mod podge. Make sure your ink is completely dry before using the mod podge over it to prevent bleeding!!
