I’ve been living in my new kitchen now for a couple of weeks. I have to say I LOVE IT!! We didn’t change anything structurally, but the look is totally different. I am horrible with techy things so my before pictures are stuck on a sky drive and I yet to figure out how to save them so you can actually see them… uggghhh but I have the after!!
It started out not so bad. It had faux yellow walls, dark oak cabinets, laminate countertops that were well loved!! But after just a few short months of being in our new house here in TX- we gave it a new look that fits us just perfectly!!

I repainted all the cabinets myself. They were solid wonderful cabinets and I loved the layout!! Inside and out were washed and lightly sanded, primed with an oil based Kiltz, and then painted with Lowe’s Kitchen and Bath paint. I used a black on the island and Malted Milk on the wall of cabinets. I also used a black antiquing glaze on the malted milk. We changed out the hardware, lights, and countertops. I even gave my kitchen table a new funky look too!! At some point we plan on changing out the tile on the floor but for now..
